The Sidewinder Xtreamer installation eliminates the need for a fan in the Xtreamer. The cooler installation process is simple, but you should read this quick guide completely before starting.
Once completed, turn off the fan in the fan speed menu, in the configuration screen Xtreamer. To complete the installation, you are going to need all the components included in the kit and a screwdriver or a kitchen knife (caution, always sharp objects pointing in the opposite direction to the wearer).
Step 1:
Removing the side plate. First, put the Xtreamer on a flat surface
Step 2:
With a small flat-blade screwdriver or other sharp object, carefully insert the thin edge between black metal and thin plastic panel.
Once you have created a small opening, carefully use a screwdriver or sharp object to repeat the operation on the rest of the edge of the metal plate.

Remove the metal plate side
Step 4:
Removing the side plate. Remove any excess tape on plastic surfaces. A Once removed, you can see the main chip, with a little thermal material (TIM). Please discard responsibly the original board and the internal heat sink.
Step 5:
Remove the heatsink (silver) interior completely.
IMPORTANT - DO NOT insert the tool more than 10 to 15 mm or can touch the electronics.
Step 6:
Remove the protective tape from the back of the Sidewinder heat sink
Step 7:
To prepare the instalation of the Xtreamer Sidewinder heat sink, please paste the thermal tape (included in the kit).
Step 8:
Place the heatsink on the Xtreamer Xtreamer Sidewinder.
Install the other Sidewinder heatsink except the thermal paste step.
